♠ Name: eden eleanor holmes
♠ Blood: pure ♠ Age & Year: sixteen & sixth ♠ Gender: witch ♠ Best Subject: charms ♠ Worst Subject: muggle studies ♠ Classes: charms potions muggle studies transfiguration magical marine biology ♠ Appearance: Eden's bright and boisterous wardrobe stands out from her brother's stark, clean colors and lines. Simon cringes at the colorful patterns and exotic textures she dons. Eden refers to it as a flair for style, while Simon calls it either a severe case of ADD or the early onset of schizophrenia. The more color, the more excitement, the better: nails painted a new color every day, bright lips to contrast with her pale visage, a new hairstyle for every day of the week. Simon can hardly bear to stand next to her in the halls (Can't have little sis crampin' his style, you know?)
Eden has a tall, sleek build like her brother, and although she looks a little young for her age, she has the curves to prove she's been through puberty. Unlike her brother, however, Eden has bright green eyes and chestnut brown locks (although that bit of appearance isn't as natural as the rest).
Eden loves jewelry - it's the quickest way to her heart, and wears new pieces every chance she gets. She has a complete air of approachability, and greets everyone with a wave and a smile. ♠ Personality: “E” is for “eccentric.” Eden sleeps through the majority of her classes (or, on a particularly productive day, will concentrate on balancing her wand on the tip of her nose; luckily, her good memory helps her score at least passing grades). However, after hours, she devours book after book, filling her brain to the brim with seemingly (no… actually) useless knowledge on the most obscure subjects that the Delusion Library has to offer (and some volumes that she imports from Liverpool). Eden loves trivia, and will frequently quote an odd fact or statistic in conversation. Eden also takes pleasure in life’s small joys: exploring, tree-climbing, the occasional Bertie Botts binge, an unchartered trip to Loch Ness…
“D” is for “delightful.” Eden tries her hardest to see the good in others. On whole, Eden gets along with almost everyone (especially because she is fascinated rather than repulsed by people’s flaws). In fact, the only people Eden finds it difficult to get along with are those who have grown up too quickly and who refuse to enjoy life’s basic pleasures. A right social butterfly, Eden will make it her duty to befriend every lonely student studying solo in the library or by the lake (er, ignoring the fact that they might actually be trying to get some work done). If someone is slow to open up to Eden, it only makes her work harder to befriend them. Essentially, if Eden likes you, you’re her friend – or else.
“E” is for “encroaching.” Eden has no problem becoming involved in the lives of others, whether or not her presence is necessarily welcomed. She loves playing matchmaker and psychologist; the only problem is that she’s a romantic and an idealist at heart, so she often plunges people – herself included – into interesting rather than rational situations. Nevertheless, Eden backs her outlandish arguments with some sort of reasoning, even if it defies conventional wisdom: she evaluates things by their novelty, their absurdity, their cleverness. She asks blunt questions and gives straightforward and sometimes embarrassing advice. Still, it’s all with good intentions. Eden knows that everyone has a story to tell, and simply wishes to do her part to make that story that much more interesting. “N” is for “nevermind-I-can’t-think-of-another-word.” Eden can become attached to people within minutes of meeting them. She will idolize them, imagine them, see only the facets of their personality that she wishes. She is not afraid to flirt. She does not find it difficult to talk to boys, just as she does not find it difficult to talk to anyone.
♠ History: EDEN LOVES BIG BROTHER SIMON EVEN THOUGH HE CAN HARDLY BEAR TO BE SEEN WITH HER IN THE HALLS! <333 ♠ Ten Characteristics: bubbly sneaky eccentric clumsy passionate intrusive imaginative outgoing bossy (on occasion, but in an innocent, childlike way) idealistic
